Am I snobby for doing this?

Yeah, a few months ago, i went on a spanish language learning trip to spain and my mom set me up with the unaccompanied minor plan at the airport, they watched me as i went there, but when i went back the spaniards didnt set up the escort, so i got on my flight went to chicago, and i fell asleep at the gate and i missed my plane. i went to the front desk and told the lady what happened she said ok and she'll give me a ticket so i could go back into the terminal. i said "what? no i want a hotel", because my dad gave me his credit card and the Hyatt was only $74 for a distressed penger. do you think i was snobby? (i got a room with an amazing view)
