Is my parents' house jinxed?

my parents bought a house in 2005. as soon as i saw it, i felt something was just not right about it. After a few months, my friend's family was invited for dinner to our place. That specific night they didnt say anything. But later her mom made my friend call me to tell me to purify our house because according to them, it had bad energy. i told my parents about it, but they just took it as nonsense. so then a few days we received mails of ex owner of the house. the family moved to mexico or something. we never saw them after buying the house. well, my mom was nosey and so she used to rip their envelops to see what was inside. turned out that they were in heavy debt. we got a series of mails like that. they couldnt even pay for a truck they bought new. but then strange things started happening. my dad had a great job, but somehow the money he made seemed to go away very easily. i mean we had a real money trouble over there. now we moved to a new city and things are fine once again. the house has a tenant. but she can never pay her rent to us on time because now it seems like she is going through that same money problem. Is there something really wrong with our house?
