If they are from Guatemala, they need a guatemalen pport. To use that to visit the u.s., it must include biometric data. Not sure if a visa is required, but tourist visas are generally good for about 90 days. The familly can contact the u.s emby in Guatemala to find out what is required to come to the u.s. for a short period.
