Cultural sensitivity question about my wife vs my family?

Your wife and child are your family, their wants and needs come FIRST. If you are having problems with that then you had no business getting married and no business bringing a baby into that marriage. Time for you to untie the apron strings to your parents and grow some as well as a backbone and stick up for YOUR family (wife and child)
