It seems to me the number of universes is either 0, 1 or a huge number. Your thoughts?

Physicists have proposed the idea that there may be a multiverse, with multiple universes. My intuition tells me that there is either 1 universe or a huge number, but not say 17 or 9 universes. Perhaps there is no universe at all and everything is really one point.
