Getting Army orders in hand?

My husband was told that he would be reporting to Ft. Lewis on April 10th. We are taking his 45 days of leave and leaving on March 1st so that we have plenty of time to find a place to live (off post) and get situated before he starts work. We have already given our 30 day notice to our apartments and it is now almost February but there is no word on his actual orders. We need the paperwork to go to Transportation to set up for the movers before we need to be out of our apartment. I'm having serious anxiety that the end of February will come and he still wont have the orders~ meaning all of our stuff wont be packed and we will need to be out of our apartment. How long does it normally take for the actual orders to get sent down through the chain of command??

Does anyone know anything that will help my kitten ?

She is just 4 months old and was recently deed and had her final vacinations. She was off colour and vomiting for a week after the operation and i was in constant contact with the vet over her condition, towards the end of the week she only ate very little amounts. on Saturday she was operated on and it was discovered she had not one but two telescopic bowel obstructions. She has spent just over 48 hours on IV and been cared for by the vet, the only time she ate after the op was when given drugs to stimulate the appetite and threw up after. the vet is leaning towards euthanasia for her as her wound is still weeping and she will not eat and therefore not able to p. We cannot say for sure that she has a blockage and may just take a few days and encouragement to get better, the vet advised that she is not in pain but soon enough a desicion needs to be made. Does anyone have any idea about a condition like this or knowledge of what we can do or try ?

Are we becoming less and less imaginative? (movie remakes)?

Practically every single movie being made is either a remake, based off a book, based off something else (eg. Akira, DBZ), or it's based off a play which is based off a movie which was based off a book (Phantom of the Opera 2004), or how about one that's based off a remake of another movie (The Thing 2009). For god sake, think of something original for once! If this continues, I think the American film business might head towards a dark age of movie and film arts. This is why I don't watch movies anymore. BTW, how much would I be paid for if I wrote a totally original movie script?

But I would do so more quickly, and buy a series of these books, if they started out closer to or in college (I loved the book The Secret History, by Donna Tartt) and went into young adulthood. Composting additives?

Composting is a 3 to 1 ratio of brown material to green mater or carbon to nitrogen. This balance is very critical. So for every bucket of gr clippings (green, nitrogen), you need 3 buckets of brown (carbon, dead material such as dried leaves, shredded paper, etc.) Kitchen refuse is fine and mostly green. Do not put meat scraps or dairy in this waste. Coffee grounds and tea bags are fine. Your manure is green material so you could have an imbalance right now with your gr clippings and manure. You need to get a lot of brown in the mix.

The only werewolf books I have read recently are Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series (Moon Called is the first one), which aren't entirely about werewolves though they do involve them. I've also got an book somewhere called Wolfsbane and Mistletoe, which has twelve werewolf stories in it. I am not sure if it's available in Britain or not, and I'm not recommending it so much for itself as because that will give you twelve authors who write werewolf stories. you might want to see if you can find that or something similar. In general, do you think National League pitchers are pulled too early for pinch hitters?

Unless your name is Lawrence from the Mets there is no reason to be coming out in the 4th (Mets fans will know he is known for self-destructing in the 5th or 6th). But on a normal basis if you are on your game as a pitcher I say stay in there. But that is a old school mentality. The problem is todays pitchers arms aren't conditioned to go more than 100 or so pitches from the time they were brought up. There is no such thing as 'baking oil' ... you can use any kind of vegetable oil, canola oil, or corn oil ... the stuff you fry things in is the same 'oil' you use in baking. DO NOT use 'extra virgin olive oil' to bake a cake ... that has a 'flavor' that might 'go away' when the oil is heated to baking temperatures, but it could leave an 'aftertaste' in your cake. If you don't have ANY oil, then use one egg and 1/2 cup of mayonnaise ... not 'salad cream' but any kind of 'plain' mayonnaise. There is a tiny bit of vinegar in the mayonnaise, but not enough to change the flavor much in your cake ... I actually make some cakes with mayonnaise instead of eggs and oil because I want that little 'twang' at the end of each taste that you can only get if you use mayonnaise.

MMA is a Combat SPORT, as such I don't see there being a problem with going in the cage with your friend. Your both competitors of a sport and as such going up against each other shouldn't have issues, your both going to be fighting in a rule set and the likes. Its no different from being on opposing teams on a football pitch or basketball court, it just happens your chosen sport involves strikes and grappling.

My Macintosh powerbookG3 won't boot up. It runs the fan and the green light comes on. But there isn't any chime or video. Why is he acting this way?

Strong words of advice please!!!?

Ok my boyfriend and I broke up 3months ago but today i found out why, he was too scared to tell me all this time that he loves me not just the way he used to 'with all his heart.' the thing is the past 3 months we've still been in contact, seeing and being intimate with one another, he claims that he was doing so because he wanted to try and rekindle the love and also convince me that if it didnt work we could still remain friends but it hasn't worked because lust and my bitterness about the past just takes over. Is my parents' house jinxed?

my parents bought a house in 2005. as soon as i saw it, i felt something was just not right about it. After a few months, my friend's family was invited for dinner to our place. That specific night they didnt say anything. But later her mom made my friend call me to tell me to purify our house because according to them, it had bad energy. i told my parents about it, but they just took it as nonsense. so then a few days we received mails of ex owner of the house. the family moved to mexico or something. we never saw them after buying the house. well, my mom was nosey and so she used to rip their envelops to see what was inside. turned out that they were in heavy debt. we got a series of mails like that. they couldnt even pay for a truck they bought new. but then strange things started happening. my dad had a great job, but somehow the money he made seemed to go away very easily. i mean we had a real money trouble over there. now we moved to a new city and things are fine once again. the house has a tenant. but she can never pay her rent to us on time because now it seems like she is going through that same money problem. Is there something really wrong with our house?

Having chest pain?

I am having some uncomfortable pain and soreness in my chest. My mother says it is gas (which doesn't make sense to me). Others say it is a pulled muscle, but I haven't been lifting or doing strenuous exercise at all. I had this same pain around this time last year and it went away about a week or two later. When I lay down on my back, it gets worse. When I lay on my chest or put pressure with a pillow it feels somewhat better. I don't want to go to the doctor unless I absolutely must. Why do the custodial parent ALWAYS want more? I was a single mom of 4, I received (when he would pay) $205.00 per month. I never complained. I went out and got a job and took on MY RESPONSIBILITY. Yes, he helped in the making them, BUT they are MY children. Why don't women today want to get out and work and take care of their own? Why do they want the fathers to pay ungodly amounts, (they are barely left enough to live on themselves) and still cry it isn't enough? If you can't take care of your kids, then maybe you shouldn't have them. When your married having children, you should ask yourself, 'can I support this child without help?' to much acid will do that. i thought i was dying. but they can treat this i take protonix which is better then nexium i had to double my dose. also until its under control they may need to give you lorzapam to calm your nerves. the reflux gets worse at night. try to cut out any thing with acid in it. no juice or cokes and stay a way from caffeine. it takes a lot of acid to digest meat so try and cut your meat intake down. stay away from fruit. and tomato's good luck ill keep you in my prayers

my daughter has horrible gas so i use gentlease with her...have you tried a different bottle though? i used to have platex ventaire advanced and my baby would still have horrible tummy aches. my friend recommended dr brown bottles and immediately i noticed a huge difference. i also recommend using gas drops, they help dissolve the gas to make easier to p from both ends.

My child had three "anxiety-like" attacks during the night, and is now experiencing stange sensory symptoms.

Doctor says to watch her, but she probably just thinks I'm crazy. Anyway, my eight year old went to sleep and woke up a few hours later screaming and crying out next to my bed. Saying "mama, I'm scared...it's bad...something is wrong...etc". At first I thought she was asleep, or having night-terrors, but quickly discovered that was not the case. She was experiencing weird sensory symptoms, like magnification of noises...and distance. She was panicky, and visibly freaked out. Her movements were quick and jerky. She would say things like "shh, shh, quit talking...you are too close to me to talk...you are scaring me"! Then quickly tell me in a very terrified voice to get the cat out of the room because the cat was scaring her and being loud. All the while crying "help me, help me"! 6 months pregnant and measuring small?

This is my second baby, and it has been completely different than the first. I had a lot of nausea, vomiting, headaches, muscle pains, etc. Now most of the sickness is gone, just pain in arms, right leg goes numb (when standing), headaches, but the part that scares me the most is I am measuring small. Initially I was measuring large for my due date - now it has changed to smaller. I know she is laying horizontally instead of vertical like my first, and the ultrasound and AFP tests came back good. Landlord wants me out , 30-day Notice to Vacate and says can move out any time, can I move early w/o penalty?

My lease expires on July 31 and my landlord has put a "30-day notice to vacate". And in that he also says that I'm "currently on a month-to-month basis" and "he would like to have the possession of the property on or before July 31st,2010". I'm confused because I'm not on month to month (its June and lease ends july31!). Since he says I can move before the end of my lease (July 31) can I move out June 30 to new apartment without a problem (will i be able to legally get my security deposit back if i do this)? (Could I just quit at 11th month without legal problems?) Btw I'm in 'OH'

Can I Plug Up My Manifold?

I not sure how to explain my question. I have a 89 chevy silverado and the other day while I was tightning the bolts up on my manifold I accidentaly broke off the hose that goes from the manifold into the heater core. Now there is a piece of pipe still stuck in my manifold I cannot get out so I can get a new heater hose in. I have tried all kinds of extractors, and even tried beating it out with a hammer and screwdriver but im a afraid ill mess up the threads. I cannot afford to take it to a shop and was wondering if it would be stupid to just put a big bolt in the hole and plug it up? I would also have to byp my heater core from the radiator which I dont think is a big deal. There would still be one hose on top of my radiator sending coolant into the engine and one hose on the bottom of the radiator taking it out of the water pump. Hope this all makes sense.

I was driving on highway 80 in California in the left hand lane and a black SUV with flame decals on the hood was following too close and pressuring me from behind. This guy was in a real hurry and seemed very impatient. The two cars in front of me pulled into the center lane and I accelerated to get away from him. Real Kelty Teton 2 Pictures?

I was looking into getting the Kelty Grand 2 Mesa as a tent but being 6'5 I was believing that it would be to small. So I'm now looking at the Kelty Teton 2 as its bigger. But the fly design from the pictures of it look like theres a big gap on the side of the tent. For me thats a really big no. I need a tent that the fly covers the entire tent. So I was wondering if the fly actually goes all the way down or if it actually does leave that big of a gap on the side? Or if you think a 6'5'' person can fit in the Kelty Mesa 2 Grand. Hi i'm a 28y/M and have been having gi problems for over ten years without seein a doc. I've been experiencing?

I've always had a high fat diet with steady mucusy diarrea but as of past 6 months ive been experiencing Black mixed in my stool and it tested pos. for blood about 2 1/2 months ago with an at home test. My health insurance in pending for 60-90 days and without it no doc. will give me endoscopy or colonoscopy. Emergency dept. took a catscan and bloodwork and seen nothing abnormal. I believe it may be a peptic ulcer but I have more symtoms that dont correspond with that diagnosis like swollen eyes, insomnia, dizzyness/ Blurred vision, and dramatic weight loss.(lost 30 lbs. in 2 1/2 months). I'm not sure if the weight loss is due to change in diet. I've been eating fruit, potatos, and rice and taking prilosec, and centrum vitamins. Though the black is clearing up I'm still feeling dizzy daily and I look sick. Has anyone had symtoms such as these? Or known anyone with these symtoms? I'm extreamly scared and was looking for any feedback on a possible diagnosis. Thank you for your time.

I have a strong crush on a girl at work what should I do?

This girl has been in my head for a few months and I can't get her out. She knows her games are getting to me and she won't stop. When I first approached her she seemed nice and liked my comments and remarks and even laughed at a few of them. One day I looked really bad or just not myself and her stares were making my situation even worse. I was shaking and couldn't even make eye contact with anyone. I was about to brake down when I was closing that night and she asked me what was wrong. I was really close to telling her, but then I decided not to because it was something really personal. The day before that one day my father told me my mother was at the time about to have surgery. I later learned by asking my mother directly that she was going to have a hysterectomy due to the fact that she had a growth in her uterus. I thought she was keeping information from me and expected the worse (cancer). After she had the surgery I learned she was going to be fine (Thank God). This "game" of hers went on. I would walk past her and she would stare and I would be and still am startled. There would be days that she would complain or stir up drama with others and when I would walk by she would compose herself. I even asked her if there was something wrong and she would just change the subject or end the conversation by saying stuff like "...but I work hard Giff, I work hard...". One day she went to the back of the place I work at after asking others and me for a cough drop. I figured she was toying with me because she wasn't coughing so I just ignored it. I walked to the back to get some stuff my manager asked me to get and I saw her crying while complaining to her "friends". Was this just drama or was she hurt because I didn't answer back? I asked myself. She did look genuinely upset.. I guess. She would bring her boyfriends or people she went out with for a few days to work (I work at a restaurant). One day before work I saw her dressed really nice and thought she was waiting on a date. She wasn't. She usually changes before work, I just thought because she was dressed so nice that she was because I didn't know she was working that day. I jokingly told her during work that she was dressed so nice I thought she was waiting on a date and told me: "No..no.." Like in a way that she was implying she wanted me to ask her out. After that encounter she walked up to me and fixed up my headset which all bussers wear at my restaurant to be informed on what tables are dirty. That same day I was really close to asking her out when she was being really playful with me, but didn't because my manager budged in (he probably notices she is getting to me because one day she told me I looked like I was about to cut myself because I'm really quite and told others afterwards that she felt so bad for me and later I approached her while looking really shaken to fix the problem and my manager happened to walk by and notice). The next work day she would call me a fag out loud (not behind my back like she usually would). I've noticed that her mood towards me changes when others aren't around. I usually approach her during closing because she is easier to approach when the other hostesses aren't around (she's a hostess). She plays avoid when there around, but when they aren't she playfully approaches me and punches me on the arm and stuff. The man that I have spent the last five years with has put me through total hell. We have a four year old child together too. In the beginning he had a drug addiction that I didnt know about until I was pregnant, abandoned, and my bank account was overdrawn by nearly a thousand dollars. The next two years was more of the same over and over. Id forgive him and take him back only to lose money, vehicles, and at times, my mind. I, at one point wanted to hurt him back, so I slept with his brother, he went off the deep end. He went on a two week drug binge and ended up in jail and the conviction sent him to prison. He spent three years in prison and I of course forgave him and he forgave me and I waited for him. I waited for three long years 100% faithfully. We became friends for the first time in our relationship. I took care of any and everything he needed, visited him (with children in tow). I did his time right along with him every step of the way. He says he loves me more than he has ever loved anyone in his life. He said he wanted to adopt my other son from a previous marriage and let him call him Daddy. (My son, to this day still thinks this guy is his dad). After three years, he is released. We had tried to get married several times while he was incarcerated, but it never panned out for one reason or another. So we settled on getting married in Oct '10. He was released Jan'10. When he came home, I was so afraid of him getting back on drugs, I was very controlling. Life at home was miserable. Plus he was having trouble finding a good job that I was carrying the financial burden of another person to care for and I do not have a lot of money at all. We were strained. So in his usual fashion, he chooses to run away from the problem instead of dealing with it. I discovered that he had cheated on me. He had been home for three months and cheated. I was devastated. I packed up his stuff and he didnt try to stay, he said he wasnt, but I knew better. Five days later I see a pic of him and her on her facebook as her default pic. I imediately changed my number and started talking to other guys. I did see and kept occupied with other men the whole time we have been split up. I have not been able to get him out of my mind at all. I have not been able to allow any man that I have seen to get close. I have been completely miserable in spite of my best efforts to get over this. During the first month of our being split up, his cousin got my new number and two days later I started getting private calls in the middle of the night and this person would just sit there and I eventually started to talk and they would still just sit and listen. Anyways this brings me to my current situation. It has been seven and a half months, he calls me up and wants to see his son all of a sudden. ( he hasnt tried to contact us all this time). During this first phone call, he admits to me that he married the girl he cheated on me with. He knew her for two weeks when we split and he moves in with her. He says he proposed three weeks later and less than two months of knowing this girl, he married her! He said his whole family tried to talk him out of it and they told him he wasnt ready. THey were mad at him for what he did to me. They love me and they didnt really like her. He says he left her and he isnt going back. He said that he doesnt love her and never did. He cant tell me why he married her or even why he left me. All he says is that he was weak minded and he lost his mind and that he is trying to be a better person and make it up to me and my son. He says he isnt trying to get me back just that we should be friends because of our son. But then he says he still loves me and never stopped, that the whole marriage thing was him running from our problems, wants to know if he offers me money will I take it, can he take me out one night as friends. He also knows everything I have done the whole time we have been split (facebook). The two times I have taken my son up to see him, he tries to touch and kiss me. I know I have given him enough chances and he has blown each and every one. I have suffered unimaginable pain over him. I can believe the marriage was a sham, as he always does something stupid when we split up. Well I got real stupid, and the last time I took my baby up there, I agreed to stay the night. I ended up sleeping with him. I was hoping he would just treat me like a piece and I could move on, but he didnt. He did things that he didnt even do when we were together. He held me all night, played with my hair, kept touching my face. I would wake up and see him staring at me and brushing my cheek like I was precious to him (WTH???) I dont want to give him another chance, but I am so love sick right now. Can someone offer some prospective on him and his behaviour. I asked him and he doesnt know why we cant stay away from each other either. And Im still pretty upset over my older son who has now lost two dads.

In your first sentence it would look better if you used a comma or just a period. A comma for the second one too. And in the last paragraph a whole new sentence would work a lot better. Semicolons should really only be used for sentences that need them. If you can take a sentence and break it up into two complete thoughts it makes you seem more adept and more educated.

Worrying about my dad...?

My dad turned 45 about a week ago and he had a bit of time off work and I have finished school now so I have been spending quite a bit of time with him recently and I was noticing that he has been forgetting things quite a lot. Dealing with a bereavement?

My nan died two weeks ago tomorrow and l have been devastated. This is the first death in my family that l have experienced. I am 37 with 5 children and l feel like l am going mad. She was 83 and died as a rsult of neglect by her son. we were only told she was dead the next day. I have so many questions and regrets going round in my head. My children are devastated l am trying my best to comfort them but l don't understand the total waste of life myself. She could have easily seen 90 but her life was cut short. My baby wont burp?

hi i have tried all the usual positions when burping my baby also i have tried colic drops,gaviscon infant and infacol which all have no effect.Also everytime he poos its diarea and he will fall asleep on the formula feed after 2ozs while before hand he would drink 5ozs no problem.i cant seem to get any burps out of him can anyone help plzzzzzz. thanks for any help at all.

I'm 18, my bf is 16. I live in washington he's in NY state. neither of us care about . we video chat and text and talk on the phone. i know he is who he says he is. We even IM. well, we used to. a while ago I kept getting distracted by things like YouTube videos and messing around with audio and stuff and I was like not replying to his IMs and when I would replky I was short with him. like he says this long story or something and all I say is lol or XD or something. we had a talk and I triy my best to stop doing that. I know I've at least cut back a lot on it. now he's doing the same thing to me and it sucks. no, he's not trying to make a point. just he's on IMVU which is like a virtual world like second life or something. he spends moe time on it and with his virtual gf than with me. (he's bi) I know nothing's going on, like he's not cheating on me or anything, because I trust him. also I wouldn't have any problem with it if he was. I just wouldn't want him to lie about it. It just sucks because I'm trying to lose weight all day (I'm a bit chubby) and he's bored without me online all day so he has to do stuff to occupy his time. I have a phone but I'm with my mom and she's so awesome and distracting that I can't carry on a text conversation. but at he end of the day when I finally am on, I try to IM him and there's no response. 5 minutes later I say "?" and he says "brb" and I say "k". 10 minutes later I say "?" agian and he says "I gtg" and I'm like wtf because my feet are killing me from walking all day to try and be healthy so when I come see him I can be skinny and if we do sdecide to *ahem* "do something" I won't disgust and crush him. then I get home and all he says to me is brb and then later I gtg??
